Social network
From TrustLet, a free, collaborative project for collecting and analyzing information about trust metrics.
A social network is a network of acquaintances. A social network can be either undirected, if the relationships are not oriented and hence symmetric (for example, if A is friend of B, then B is automatically friend of A), or directed, if the relationships are not necessarily symmetric (for example, A might say she is a friend of B and B is free to not reciprocate).
A trust network is a special case of social network in which the relationship between 2 nodes is about trust.
